Når vi snakker om bucklere, det er vel stort sett bucklere laget utelukkende av metall? Eller er trebucklerne (i realiteten mini-rundskjold)fortsatt mye brukt? Altså i siste del av 1400, de siste spørsmålene.

Kunne fotsoldater på sent 1400-tall bruke store skjold(sammen med 1-håndssverd)? Sånn bortsett fra pavise, kunne de bruke skjold som minnet omm trekantskjold?

Jeg tenker sentraleuropa, Tyskland, Flandern, Frankrike etc.

Nej det hör inte till vanligheterna. Däremot i Italien under sent 1400tal så finns det ref. på det du pratar om, men då är det en stor rund sköld av klassiskt grekiskt snitt som används med spjut och tex. barbuta. Om detta har med nytta eller renässans mode att göra låter jag vara osagt. Men generellt så användes inte stora sköldar som aktiva skyddsvapen av fotsoldater i någon i någon större utsträcknig under 1400talets slut. Däremot passiva skyddsvapen som pavisen användes flitigt som ett statiskt skydd för skyttar.

Däremot småsköldar förekommer en hel del såsom: bucklare,targe,rondash,bochiero, rotella,rondella etc.

Nu handlar detta inte om regelrätta fotsoldater, utan förmodligen om vem som med Guds stöd kan säga sig ha rätt i en tvist, men ändå: 1400-tal, (löjligt) stor sköld och enhandssvärd.

Her forskjellige typer pavise, med sverd.

Er det umulig for et sentral/-østeuropeisk frikompani i år 1480-1500 å bruke store skjold (f.eks slike som ovenfor) sammen med pålevåpen og/eller sverd?

Men det fantes jo flere typer/størrelser paviser så vidt jeg vet, en for armbrøst, en for rytter og en middels-størrelse for infanteri? Eller husker jeg feil der?

her er mange eksempler på håndholdte paviser sammen med enhåndere. Omtrent midt på siden er det en liten tegneserie med et prakteksempel.

Kan det være at man bruker pavisen sammen med sverdet når man evt(undet et slag/beleiring etc) har sluttet å bruke armbrøstet?

här bruker disse gutta pavise-lignende skjold sammen med lange sverd. Det er fra 1515 så vidt jeg vet..

Soldater beväpnade med svärd och rundsköld, ibland en som skulle tåla skott. De kunde vara beväpnade med pistol.
Men en bucklare och ett svärd fanns också.

Men vi talar om runda sköldar som bars på underarmen eller om bucklare.
