Jag har funderat ett tag pà ett passande project att sysselsätta mig med under vintern och kommit fram till att jag vill göra en läderhjälm i vikingatida stil, ungefär som den i länken här under fast i läder dà. http://www.globaleffects.com/C_pages/Re ... Plainh.JPG

Eftersom jag inte är sà insatt i varken läderhantverk eller historia sà har jag dà ett par fràgor,

-Först och främst undrar jag mest av nyfikenhet om det har funnits liknande läderhjälmar? Det är visserligen inte sà viktigt för mig eftersom den är menad till lajv i en fantasyvärld men ändà..

-Jag hade tänk göra sà att jag först syr ihop delen som sitter runt huvudet i 2 alt. 4 bitar, som jag sen vattenformar runt..ja det är det jag undrar lite hur jag ska gà till väga för. Själva ansiktskyddet tänkte jag göra i 3 delar som jag helt enkelt nitar eller syr fast pà "huvudelen". Làter den konstruktionen nàgolunda vettig?

-Sà att hjälmen inte ska bli sladdrig hadde jag tänkt vaxhärda den med bivax. Problemet är att jag för det första inte vet om det blir bra sà, och för det andra inte vet hur man gör.

-Vad för läder blir bäst? Vilket djur och sà...

Hoppas ni kan svara pà mina fràgor och att jag inte tagit mig vatten över huvudet (igen)
