Skulle behöva lite hjälp med att få förslag på var man kan köpa vikingatida knappar i exempelvis brons. Utbudet har varit lite dåligt de senaste åren på de marknader jag varit...

Känner ju till att de finns att köpa i storbrittanien men nog måste det finnas knappar närmare än så. Det finns väl någon stackars gjutare som sitter hemma och sliter i norden?

Eftersom jag behöver några stycken, typ 13-15 så blir ju vissa engelska priser på upp emot 50:-/styck lite häftigt för att dra igen kaftanen, även om det är skönt att kunna göra det när det båser...

Om du kan tänka dig att gjuta i tenn har jag nog silikonmassa och formtillverkningspryttlar hemma på nylöse om du vill prova nästa gång du är nere och hälsar på... :)

Gjöt av lite andra knappar för ett par år sedan och det blev faktiskt förbluffande bra. problemet är ju bara att tenn är ganska klent, men till knappar räcker det nog...

Jag tror också att Mats är den du får höra med, i övrigt är det skralt med svenska gjutare.
Men du kan ju för bövelen gjuta dem själv! Claes har bronsskrot, degel och gjutsand och Björns smedja brukar det inte vara några problem att få låna. Bilder på knappar finns på nätet.
-Seså, sätt igång och skulptera original nu och sedan march iväg till Hamburgsund!
