Om du kollar på musikforumet, tråden om lyror, så ser du ett gäng instrument som Olov byggt. Han bor i Visby och bygger i forskningssyfte, inte på beställning. Men som sagt, med lite tur kan han ha något.
Jag har inte hans e-postadress här, och vill inte skriva ut den med tanke på spamrisken, men som medlem når du ju honom genom att klicka på hans namn i exempelvis lyratråden.
Vad gäller fiddlorna på Fredmans har jag inte heller hört dem, men det är en rätt erkänd byggare så det är nog ett säkert köp.

Fyrsträngat främst för att jag spelar fiol som huvudinstrument och är väldigt förtjust i omfånget och omstämningsmöjligheterna. Det är inte så viktigt, tre- eller femsträngat är också intressant. Nackdelen är väl att femsträngat tycks ha en tendens att kosta lite mer. Fiddlorna på fredmans är intressanta rent prismässigt, men jag vet ingenting om dem eller hur de låter.

Jag känner igen namnet Olle Gibson, men vem är han och hur kommer jag i kontakt med honom?

Byggsats är en idé om jag inte hittar något annat, men det skulle kännas skönt om jag visste att instrumentet var gjort av någon som verkligen vet och kan. Halva milimetrar gör för stor skillad för att jag ska våga ge mig in på det utan hjälp...

Har du tur kanske Olle Gibson har något liggande som han kan tänka sig att göra sig av med.
