Lägg tuben platt framför dig med sömmen vågrätt mitt på. Markera mått B/2 på det dubbla tyget i nedre vänstra öppna sidan och motsvarande övre högra, kontrollera att längden dubbelt tyg som är kvar i vardera sidan är mått C/2. Markera en diagonal linje mellan punkterna där måtten B/C möts i vardera sidan. Klipp längs diagonalen detta blir underarmsömmen. Om även sidsömmarna på bålen klipps sneddade kanske man kan undvara ärmspjäll men även då och särskilt om bålen är rakskuren är det säkert bra med ett litet ärmspjäll för bekvämlighets och hållbarhets skull.

Å andra sidan tror jag att det blir snyggare utan en massa sömmar. Det bästa kanske är att experimentera lite i lakansväv först?

Jag har börjat bli lite sugen på att ordna en lång kjortel av 1200-talsmodell med "magyarärmar", alltså ärmar som är vida upptill och smala nedtill, något i den här stilen:

Jag har dock inte hittat något om hur man bäst konstruerar sådana. På den här bilden och en del rekonstruktionsbilder jag sett ser det ju mest ut som en vanlig kjortel av, typ, Bockstensmodell med rejält överdimensionerade ärmkilar. Eller är det något mer avancerat?
Jag har tittat lite på Kragelundskjorteln också, det kanske vore bättre att använda den modellen (fast med större överarmsstycken)?

Någon som har gjort sådana här ärmar och har några tips?
