- Har du kontakt med medeltidiska re-enactment gruppar liksom http://www.nordmark.org/sca.html? Antar nog att en del av gruppar vill inte visa nån religiösa riktning i sina hobbyer.
- Har du letat efter rollspell och rollspellscenario some handlar medeltida religion? En sånt heter Ars Magica (by Atlas Games). Vet inte om nån spelar det inne i Sverige, men det är ganska populärt i Finland pga sätt den berättar om religion i medeltid. Det måste finns andra liksom Ars Magica.

Johannes Nesser (i Uppsala) har skrivit ett rollspelsscenario vid namn "Quo Vadis" på beställning av svenska kyrkan (tror jag). Scenariot var tänkt att ställa spelarna i olika etiska trångmål samt ge dem en bild av den tidiga kristendomens historia.

Jag har själv aldrig läst scenariot (så min info bör ses som tämligen osäker), men det lär vara publicerat i ett flertal länder.

Vi fördjupar oss inte i rollernas själsliv och talar som de gör, spelar ut deeras känslor. Vi talar om rollen och vad denna gör, vilka dess uppgifter var och vilken utrustning den bär. Det är lika mycket rollspel som visning av fotbollskläder är en fotbollsmatch. Det enda som vi delar med lajvare är en förkärlek till lustiga kläder och hattar, samt att många av oss sysslar med båda delarna, dock sällan samtidigt.

Medeltidsveckan... bara för att det finns lajvare på ett ställe gör det inte att det blir ett live för alla.

Nytt forskningsprojekt om rollspel]]> som hobby men jag skulle aldrig ställa mig och säga att det är samma sak som reenactment. Däremot tror jag att det börjar bli allt mer populärt att man nyttjar resurser och tar inspiration frå reenactment och living history till lajv idag på ett annat sätt än vad man gjorde för ca 10 år sedan. Om jag stäler upp på ett slagfält med rutsning för att försöka återskapa en strid från medeltiden vill jag inte klassas som lajvare, men smyger jag av någon anledning runt i skogen och jagar vättar så är det en helt annan femma.
Som parentes kan man ju fundera på vad Medeltidsveckan på Gotland borde klassas som. Det finns ju uppenbarligen en hel del "rollspelande" men är det då rollspel eller teater? Sveroks definitioner är inte heller helt tydliga och jag tror att om man dristar sig till att försöka beskriva det hela i text så kan det bli svårt att få folk som inte är insatta att förstå skillnaderna inom hobbyn. Om jag försöker porträttera en medeltidsmänniska vill jag verkligen inte bli klassad som lajvare...

Det blev mycket, det blev rörigt, men jag hoppas det kan vara några funderingar värda att beakta i alla fall.

Det jag framför allt är intresserad av är olika typer av rollspel som pedagogisk metod för att sprida kunskap och väcka intresse för vikingatid och medeltid. Men så här i början så kastar jag nätet ganska brett... Men jag ser det väl mer som punkter på en skala där det i alla dessa företeelser finns både inslag av återskapande av historia och rollspel men tyngdpunkten och målen med verksamheten är olika.

Tack för era bidrag! Nu fick jag nåt att fundera på...

Jo, jag har annonserat hos Sverok och lite andra rollspelsföreningar också, men är som sagt fortfarande tacksam för tips och synpunkter. Keep them coming!
